The Walter J Tuck Recreation Reserve, in partnership with the Mirboo North Cricket Club and Mirboo North United Football Club, is excited to announce the ‘Pitch in for a Picket’ initiative. This project aims to install a white picket fence around the bottom oval, enhancing both safety and aesthetics for our community sports hub. By purchasing a picket, post, or panel, you can leave a lasting mark of support, while helping create a safer and more beautiful environment for players and spectators alike.

Our beautiful little town bore the brunt of a fierce storm in February 2024, which left a trail of destruction across our community. Months on, the clean up continues.
Although the Cricket Club was lucky to escape major physical damage, the season was abruptly cut short, leaving the club facing both disappointment and financial strain.
We hope the ‘Pitch In For A Picket Fence’ initiative can inject renewed enthusiasm and finances into the club so that we can continue to provide a safe and welcoming space for players, volunteers, spectators and the wider community.
